This bug is caused by hardware bug in AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPUs. Its hardware random generator does not work, therefore Krita generates the same swap file name every time and (since the file may exist after previous runs) fails to open it. We have a workaround for it, but it will be released only in Krita 4.2.7 in October. For now you have two options: 1) Either use nightly Krita builds from here, they have a workaround for AMD CPUs: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_Windows_Build/ 2) Or before running Krita, check the contents of this folder: C:/Users/Carina Sasmita/AppData/Local/Temp And remove all the files starting with "KRITA_SWAP_FILE_". It will eliminate the problem until the next Krita crash or non-graceful shutdown of the operating system. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 411081 *** -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
