Bug ID: 410752 Summary: korganizer should use "better" intervals for reminders Product: korganizer Version: 5.11.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: reminder daemon (korgac) Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: mathias.hom...@opensuse.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY the current intervals for reminding you of appointments are less than useful STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. create a calendar entry with a reminder in the future 2. wait for the reminder 3. try to postpone the reminder to another point in the future OBSERVED RESULT you can choose reminders after any free time period which means you actually have to do the math to figure out what to put in - also, to postpone a reminder that was set to "15 minutes before the event" to "remind again in 48 hours" is pretty crazy. EXPECTED RESULT I would prefer the same kind of reminder intervals that for example outlook has: "5 minutes before the event", "when the event starts", and the current free form but not as "in X {minutes|hours|days}" but as " {minutes|hours|days} before the event starts" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Leap 15.0 X86_64 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.16.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.60.0 Qt Version: 5.13.0 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
