            Bug ID: 410052
Summary: Commands for running instance via cli/yakuake-command
           Product: yakuake
           Version: 3.0.5
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: h...@kde.org
          Reporter: vinzenz.hers...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hey,
first thank you for this nice piece of software. It makes my
all-day-computerlife so much easier! :)

However, i had the idea to make my bootprocess of my dev-enviroment a bit
faster. Everything what i write here should be in context to the already
running instance. I imagine something like a bash-script, that would execute

yakuake --new-tab="Whatevername" --run="/usr/bin/cat /dev/urandom"

I don't like to do specifications here, as i am not shure about qt/kf's
argument-system works atm, but those both commands would be very usefull, at
least to me ;)

What i also can imagine as usefull is maybe split screens and run commands in
them or even bind in shortcuts.. i think, if it would be coupled with
shortcuts, allmost all possibilitys would be already avaible. but not shure
this makes sense in your structure.

Would be a dream for productivity and repeated stuff! :)

Best regards

Vinzenz
