            Bug ID: 409415
Summary: Freeze when opening edit dialog for second time
           Product: KBibTeX
           Version: 0.9
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: General
          Assignee: fisc...@unix-ag.uni-kl.de
          Reporter: kde-bugtrack...@choreutes.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When trying to open the edit dialog for the second time KBibTeX freezes
completely (no interaction possible, has to be killed via htop or similar). The
first edit dialog has no problems, though. I can even save the first change and
close KBibTeX afterwards.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open KBibTeX
2. Open the edit dialog for an arbitrary item
3. Close the dialog (no need to actually edit anything)
4. Try to open it again

OBSERVED RESULT
KBibTeX freezes and has to be killed.

EXPECTED RESULT
The edit dialog should pop up and let me do some editing.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux: 5.1.15
KDE Plasma Version: ---
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0
Qt Version: 5.13.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
When I was on Qt 5.12.4 until a few days ago I had another weird bug in all Qt
applications where I could open each submenu only once. When I tried to open
any of them for a second time nothing happened (no crash or freeze, though).
This was fixed by updating to Qt 5.13.0, so this might very well be a Qt bug,
too. However, I have no clue at all how to debug Qt and the remaining bug at
hand has not occurred to me in any other Qt application yet. That's why I'm
reporting this bug to you although it might not be your fault but maybe someone
here is a little more experienced than me.
I also tried to compile the latest version myself to check if there already is
a fix (using the kbibtex-git package from AUR) but the compilation process
always stops halfway through so I didn't get to the checking part. Sorry about
my incompetence! m)
