Bug ID: 409394 Summary: Weather widget text size exceedingly large Product: kdeplasma-addons Version: 5.16.2 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: weather Assignee: kosse...@kde.org Reporter: sl...@devture.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 121278 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=121278&action=edit Weather widget font size compared to Digital Clock (with Show Date acivated) SUMMARY The weather widget's text size is very large, making the widget take up too much space. If "Show date" is activated for the Digital Clock widget, the situation becomes worse. The clock widget shrinks its font size to accommodate 2 lines (top line shows the time, bottom line shows the date). When that happens, the weather widget's font size is clearly larger. ----- In both these situations ("Show Date" activated and inactivated for the Digital Clock), I think the Weather widget's sizing is not ideal. When "Show Date" is NOT activated, both widgets have the same size and it's consistent. Still, the weather widget shows both icon and text and seems to take a lot of space. I don't think weather is THAT important. When "Show Date" is activated, the weather widget is obviously larger than everything in the panel. Again, I don't think weather is THAT important.
