SUMMARY
Plasma freezes with black screen when logging in
Nvidia has implemented wayland via EGLStream
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. boot the computer
2. switch to wayland PLASMA in the log-in screen
3. black screen
Harware platform:
both AMD and Intel system
GPU: Nvidia
drivers: native nvidia drivers.
OBSERVED RESULT
black screen and or crash as soon as entering the desktop
EXPECTED RESULT
PLASMA work in wayland
