            Bug ID: 407939
Summary: MPRIS dataengine provides wrong CanPlay / CanPause
                    values when using VLC
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.15.90
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: DataEngines
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: amd...@yandex.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY
Both CanPlay / CanPause don't work reliably with VLC, this affects things like
the play/pause media key and the media player controls widget making them much
less useful because most of the time playing/pausing won't work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open VLC and make a playlist
2. Use the media controls in VLC a few times, specially play/pause and
previous/next track

OBSERVED RESULT
The play/pause button is disabled in media player controllers and directly
using the play/pause media key doesn't work.

EXPECTED RESULT
Playing/pausing works normally.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
KDE Neon Testing
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.90
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.59.0
Qt Version: 5.12.0
VLC: 3.0.4
