The general linux repository only has the old Krita version without the tablet tester. So I can't really remember, but I was able to draw on the tablet tester canvas. If it was blue or red - I don't know. When will you upgrade the normal debian repositories to get a current Krita version? Then I would be able to test each new version with my pen chromebook (Acer Spin 11 with Wacom digitizer screen and pen).
