SUMMARY
KDE screenlocker(?) tries to hibernate my laptop even though there is no swap
file or partition in my system. Which causes my laptop to become unresponsive
and stay awake with black screen and active wifi/BT leds still burning and only
way out is hard reboot.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. install Manjaro KDE with no swap partition (and don't create any swap things
either afterwards)
2. lock the screen
3. let the system go to sleep 

OBSERVED RESULT
Computer unresponsive with black screen and wifi and BT leds still active.

EXPECTED RESULT
Computer is responsive and lets me log back on.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Manjaro 5.0.5-1 or the 5.0.x before that.
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.3 or few earlier. rolling releases are so often :/
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 or few earlier.
Qt Version: 5.12.2 or few earlier.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. when I hard disabled hibernation system wide with "nohibernate" flag in grub
config, this did not happen anymore.

2. Only did happen on my laptop, did not happen with desktop computer with no
battery.

3. did happen even on AC power on the laptop for a week every morning laptop
computer was unresponsive. after the nohibernate flag now about week not a
problem anymore.
