that + button creates a new brush with a certain brush engine...it doesn't
change the selected brush preset. We also have some other brush editor changes
that are going to change the UI more...so this request might need to be thought
about later. That left area won't exist any longer with the new design that is
being planned.
Until the resource rewrite is done...there probably won't be any more brush
editor UI changes.
