Bug ID: 404946 Summary: unmount option besides safely remove Product: dolphin Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: p...@gmx.de CC: elvis.angelac...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- I am missing an unmount option besides the "safely remove" for Devices. 1. Attach a removable device (e.g. USB-SSD) 2. Mount the device/partition by clicking on it 3. No "unmount the device" is available Device can only be "safely removed" which ejects the device completely from the system and cannot be remounted without physically re-plugging the device. This might be good for USB-Sticks but not for stationary drives that are not unplugged very often but needs to be unmounted EXPECTED RESULT Add an "unmount" menu point which simply unmounts the device/partition without issuing the "total disconnect" command (I dont know whats the correct term for that) Betriebssystem: Gentoo Linux KDE-Plasma-Version: 5.14.5 Qt-Version: 5.11.3 KDE-Frameworks-Version: 5.54.0 Kernel-Version: 4.14.52-gentoo Art des Betriebssystems: 64-bit Prozessoren: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz Speicher: 15,2 GiB Arbeitsspeicher -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
