Bug ID: 402738 Summary: symlinks to mounted NTFS volumes are hidden in Dolphin Product: frameworks-kio Version: 5.50.0 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: fa...@kde.org Reporter: kdeb...@caseyconnor.org CC: kdelibs-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Bug #392913 was marked as fixed for 5.50, but I'm on 18.10 (with 5.50 as I understand it) and have a remaining issue: NTFS volumes mounted via fstab as: UUID=123456789 /mydrive ntfs defaults,umask=007,gid=46 0 0 ...are visible if I navigate to / in dolphin, but symlinks to the mounted directory are not. E.g. if I do: ln -s /mydrive /tmp/mydrive ...and then navigate in dolphin to /tmp, "mydrive" is invisible unless hidden files are shown. I note that "mydrive" is in my dolphin "places" list. Dolphin v18.04.3 ntfs-3g 2017.3.23 integrated FUSE 28 Linux hostname 4.18.0-11-generic #12-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 23 19:22:37 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux Nate Graham asked that I file a new bug rather than re-open the older bug.
