CentOS 5 was using KDE 3.
CentOS 7 is using KDE 4.
KDE 4 has been unmaintained and unsupported for over four years. :) You might
consider upgrading to a distro that ships more recent software or else using
the stock GNOME interface if you have to stay with CentOS.
