The plasmoid shows local time correctly (set to UTC), but additional time-zones aren't. My locale is set to en_US.UTF-8. Here's the output of $ timedatectl: Local time: Wed 2018-12-12 19:10:34 UTC Universal time: Wed 2018-12-12 19:10:34 UTC RTC time: Wed 2018-12-12 19:10:34 Time zone: Etc/UTC (UTC, +0000) System clock synchronized: yes NTP service: active RTC in local TZ: no The current time shown in various custom time-zones in the plasmoid are in the year 2086!
