            Bug ID: 402054
Summary: Wacom Intuos draw input causes instant crash
           Product: krita
           Version: 4.1.6
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: tablet support
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: smithtromb...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Upon attempting to use Krita, with a canvas open, with a Wacom Intuos
tablet/stylus, Krita will crash with the error "double free or corruption
(out)" or "double free or corruption (fasttop)".
I can use Krita with no errors until I open or create a canvas, then Krita will
crash as soon as I move the stylus over the window.
I have no special configurations for the wacom tablet and I'm sure the problem
is not with the tablet as I can use it with all my other applications without
error.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Krita
2. Create a new canvas
3. Move the cursor over the Krita window using the wacom stylus.

OBSERVED RESULT
Instant crash.

EXPECTED RESULT
normal interaction with the Krita UI

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Arch Linux
no desktop environment (Suckless DWM)
xf86-input-wacom 0.36.1-1
