Hi, i wanna say i like falkon, specially because it starts fast even with the
huge fanboy's ultimate list i got here plus all the cache i have, i have a
couple of suggestions that i believe it could make it better though:
1 - Pressing Alt enables/disables the menu bar like on Firefox.
2 - I dont know if falkon uses the same fonts as Basilisk or Opera but some
sites like this https://nsis.sourceforge.io/Main_Page have their fonts
displayed strangely on falkon, like if the browser didnt support Clear Type
Fonts or something. I dont know if the cause could be falkon not using some of
the same fonts as Firefox or Opera 12.
3 - The option "Bookmark All Tabs" should be renamed to "Bookmark All Opened
Sites" to avoid the thought of blank pages being bookmarked.
4 - In bookmarks in the menu bar i couldnt remove entries like Unsorted
Bookmarks or Bookmarks Toolbar, in Opera 12 there are only 2 entries that in
falkon would be Bookmark This Page and Organize Bookmarks to make the menu
cleaner.
5 - Add new search engine Qwant https://lite.qwant.com/
6 - Use Gigabytes instead Megabytes since in this day and age Megabytes are a
thing from the past.
7 - Add "Reload Image" and "Image Properties" in the right click menu for those
sites where sometimes images dont load or for those cases where we need to see
the data of the pic.
8 - Add a shortcut for Preferences.
9 - Add support for pausing/unpausing downloads, a msg to see if the server
supports resume (good for big downloads)
10 - Add the possibility of removing only the search bar leaving the address
bar intact, make possible using only the address bar to search things.
11 - Add a (really) handy bookmark's button with an drop-down arrow similar to
Opera 12 as you can see here http://www.hostpic.org/images/1812020359370114.gif
this avoids the need of using the menu bar to access bookmarks.
