I had to dig around with advanced find to find this > entry. I have this problem when the selected text, in editor is too large, before open the 'Find In Files' popup dialog. To resolve it ... Open the Find in file dialog. Press 'up' or 'down' arrow key to select the large text, in pattern box (first box). Press 'Ctrl+A' keys to select all of text.
