VLC was playing a video in background, I switched from another app (kate and ksysguard) to VLC, VLC appeared on the screen with frozen video while audio was playing normally. Nothing happened when I clicked on VLC until I minimized and restored its window, then the video unfroze and mouse clicks worked again.
