            Bug ID: 400834
Summary: Changing anti-aliasing settings doesn't work correctly
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 5.14.2
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_fonts
          Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: stephanrut...@gmail.com
                CC: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

When I change the anti-aliasing settings from 'Vendor Default' to anything else
anti-aliasing is disabled and cannot be enabled again without deleting
~/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change the anti-aliasing settings from 'Vendor Default' to anything else.
2. Log out and log in again.
3. Enjoy ugly fonts.

OBSERVED RESULT

Resetting to the defaults with the 'Defaults' button is only cosmetic, it
doesn't reset to 'Vendor Default' (in which state anti-aliasing was enabled).
Setting anti-aliasing in any way doesn't work, logging out and in again or even
rebooting doesn't help.

EXPECTED RESULT

I should be able to set anti-aliasing settings and reset it to the default.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS

KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0
Qt Version: 5.11.2
