it is probably -BrightSide- that is messing KWin.... The first thing I would
try is to disable all KWin hot corners and disable or remove totally
-BrightSide-... The reason for the KWin crashes it could be -BrightSide-
also... Both KWin and BrightSide are trying to do the same thing and that could
be the whole issue you have...
