If yes, please install plasmaengineexplorer and plasmoidviewer from the plasma SDK. In the plasmaengineexplorer, select the hotplug engine. A '/org/freedesktop/UDisks2/block_devices/sr<N>' device/source should appear when the disk is inserted and vanish when the disk is ejected. There is also the possibility CDEmu is not working as you might expect.
