Actually in my not yet updated system (kf 5.49.0-1, rkward v0.7.0b.r299.ga2f7a765-1) it is working, kate and rkward editor look the same. In the updated system, with latest kf5 and rkward, kate looks as usual using when using schema while the editor in rkward does not change according to teh schema used.
