I just found it still on my Laptop (running the same version of macOS) and DigiKam Version 6.0.0-git with an Build date May 22 2018 with a Rev 927a5d90b2dde5c76563be7c04a931df71cc0951 KDE Framework 5.45.0 Libraw 0.18.11 and doens't have the crashing problem with the same RAW file. So it is coming down to Libraw 0.19.x again, I suppose.
