            Bug ID: 398020
Summary: kmix doesn't respect volume feedback settings
           Product: plasma-pa
           Version: 5.13.4
          Platform: Manjaro
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: now...@gmail.com
          Reporter: sabayo...@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

I unmarked kmix volume feedback because I use keyboard shortcut to change
volume and don't want this feedback to pop-up when I watch something.

I am talking about this option:
https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/kdemultimedia/kmix/kmix-configure-general.png

But Plasma 5 doesn't respect / doesn't save this setting. After every volume
change with keyboard shortcut the pop-up appears.

I have found that pop-up doesn't appear when I unmarked / unchecked option in
system Settings → Workspace behaviour → Display visual feedback for status
changes. But this looks like some general setting for whole Plasma.

I think volume feedback option in kmix should respect its state without any
other settings.

Perhaps this is related to this bug:

https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=289&t=153661&p=402828#p402824

I suspect that Plasma 5 has general problem with saving some settings, because
there a lot of bugs for different element of Plasma not saving settings:

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398008

I will report them separately.

Manjaro, Plasma 5.13.4 qt 5.11.1
Framework 5.48.0
4.14.65-1-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Aug 18 13:29:56 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux
