I got the error in the attached screenshot.

I am on Ubuntu 18.04

I ran:

sudo chmod -R 777 ~/.local ~/.cache

I think it was a permissions problem, but it is strange, my user should have
access to everything in ~/.local and ~/.cache, perhaps kdenlive is writing
folders in there with the wrong permissions settings.
