When I create a zip archive with ark and I enter a password in order to protect
the zip file, I am not being asked for this password when I extract the file
again. The compresed file gets extracted without asking for password.
What I do:
1. Start ark
2. Click Archive – New in the menu, use file type .zip
3. Enter a zip file name
4. Enter a password in section password protection
5. click okay
6. then add a file by drag and drop from dolphin to the archive
7. Close the archive
8. open the archive again and extract the content – but there is no request
to enter the password, file gets just unpacked.
