I think the problem is not due to Skanlite but to libksane. In digiKam, we do
not use the function of libksane to convert the scanner raw data to an image
because we need a DImg(). I remember that I also fixed the function and
extended it to e.g. to support the line mode, before that had digiKam similar
problems.
