The number of steps to perform a frequent task is either the number of tasks
performed since the last time the task was performed +1, or the number of
characters needed to differentiate the task you want to perform from others in
the history, whichever is lower.

If entering shell commands is a frequent task for you, maybe Yakuake is the
better choice than KRunner?
