Setting up a KDE desktop with folderview or desktop for a
very-very-non-expert-user my friend, I met the need to show some files with
quite long names where my friend should only to click on.
using both desktop view or folder view on plasma desktop with the actual only
option view by folder it was very difficult to reed names, it could be very
useful to have a detailed view like in dolphin in order to have the files put
in columns with long names visibles besides with a scroll bar also with no
other informations like dimension or type, or compact view like in dolphin in
order to have one or more columns with long names visibles besides.
