            Bug ID: 395207
           Summary: Polished, consistent, quality design
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.12.5
          Platform: unspecified
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Application Menu (Kicker)
          Assignee: h...@kde.org
          Reporter: sebche...@gmail.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

I'd submit more screenshots if possible.
As visible on screenshot, there are two independent shadows, they even overlap
at the top, and from the left side it also isn't good.

Then, if menu has more items, it becomes longer than the "bare menu" and so on
and so forth, there are many inconsistencies.

Make the menu that appears as you hover over an entry, 'often used
applications' is an example from the screenshot, fixed in size - it would be
the size of the menu.
If there are less entries -> they are sorted from top to bottom and there can
be empty space on the bottom
If there are too many -> scrollbar appears.
This eliminates double shadows, looks good and is consistent.
