--- Comment #4 from DeMus <jan.muss...@gmail.com> --- 1) I installed valgrind and massif-visualizer 2) I then typed both commands in a terminal 3) Changed wallpaper to slideshow, refresh time 1 sec to speed things up 4) In the Conky on my screen I see NO increase in memory use 5) With ctrl-C I stopped the valgrind command 6) I then typed plasmashell to get my desktop, slideshow is still active 7) NO memory inscrease 8) Stopped the plasmashell command 9) Rebooted 10) Memory is filling rapidly, slideshow is still active, refreshtime is 1 sec.
