This should stay closed, because it works correctly.
What the reporter wants is to steal focus, but that can only work on X11 and I
don't think is a good idea. Currently it asks window manager to activate and
raise the window, and it's up to window manager to handle it. If you use KWin,
then you must set "Focus stealing prevention" to "None" to get the behavior you
want.
It works with firefox/chrome because they force raise the window, instead of
letting the window manager decide what to do.
