Either one; it doesn't matter from the perspective of this bug. As you can see the upstream bug (https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-49646) is still open. The there are two avenues of attack: 1. Fix the upstream bug and get the kerning for both rendering types improved 2. Universally switch to the QtRendering style throughout plasmashell until #1 is completed (I doubt this would be done since as described above, the issue may be a bit better with QtRendering, but it's not actually resolved) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
