            Bug ID: 393300
Summary: heavy refreshed windows stops rendering and/or flicker
                    after a time
           Product: kwin
           Version: 5.12.4
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: compositing
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: kde_...@dlk.pl
  Target Milestone: ---

What helps is to close/reopen window or restart kwin

what doesn't help (only temporary refreshes the content):
- minimizing
- resizing
- doing some action on some elements that trigger refresh

Drivers: MESA & NVIDIA prop.
OS: Arch up-to-date

Timeframe: it happens for at least as long as I use Plasma (maybe a year now),
on every PC I have (All Arch Plasma).

Rendering backend: OpenGL 3.1
Custom settings:
Enabled some desktop effects like Fade, Wobbly Windows (also, Wobbly Windows
randomly show flickering artefacts in places animation took place but no longer
is taking place as long as you hold the window), plasmashell (as it constantly
refresh time in seconds).

When does it show .. after few days while running a window with high refresh
rate like Audacious (with constantly moving text in window), or older
pavcontrol (as there sound level bar), or chrome.
Less often (or at least i didn't saw this problem) on windows with less refresh
rate like terminal, dolphin.

Kernel: 4.15.14
