>From time to time, I get the following notification from the KWin Window
Manager system: "Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset"
Actual result: It sounds like everything would be ok after this restart.
However, the actual result is that the panel does not update any more (e.g, the
clock is frozen at the time of the message, and then window buttons no longer
correspond to the open and closed windows).
Desired result: Restart the KWin thing so that the panels still work and
update.
Additional information: Version 5.12.4 of KWin, 5.43.0 of the frameworks, on
Gentoo. The reason for the restart is probably the NVIDIA proprietary driver
or some incompatibility between it and KWin, but that's not the point of this
bug report.
