Bug ID: 391475 Summary: Find: "Match case sensitive" icon is invisible Product: kate Version: Git Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: application Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bridgeportcontrac...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 111226 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=111226&action=edit screenshot with missing icon Two issues: 1) https://bugs.kde.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=kate&Bugzilla_restrictlogin=on&GoAheadAndLogIn=Log%20in (above) needs to be updated to accept newer Kate versions. Latest version accepted is 17.12.0. I selected 'git' as I think this might be the right thing for this issue. 2) On both v18.03.70 and v16.08.3 after Edit | Find (or ^F) is selected to display the Find: features, the 'Match case sensitive' icon starts out invisible (when disabled), until hovered over. One clicked it becomes visible, but is simply a gray rectangle with rounded corners and no image in the icon. See attached screen shots. If clicked a 2nd time it again becomes invisible. BTW, once enabled (i.e. the gray box shows up) the searches are in-fact case sensitive, and when disabled searches are case-insensitive as expected. (So the button works, it's just invisible for me. Others have noticed this too. See: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/409500/kate-and-case-sensitive-search Debian 9.3 (x86-64), Cinnamon 3.2.7, linux kernel 4.9.0-6-amd64, graphics card AMD RV710/M92, Mobility Radeon HD 4530/4570/545v. I'm not having any similar problems with any of the other icons in Kate, just this one. _______ I'm trying to move from vi to kate, and so thank you very much for kate! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
