Hi,
Thanks for your report. It's awesome that you added a crash log! The log shows
that the crash doesn't happen in the color to alpha filter, but in the
reference images docker. And that can happen if the Pictures folder contains a
file that Qt's image loading plugins crash on. For Krita 4.1, we'll retire that
docker because there's no way we can avoid those crashes from within Krita.
The only way to work around that issue is to figure out which file in the
current location of the reference images docker makes Krita crash, I'm afraid
:-(
The reference images docker will be replaced with a new reference images tool
which will allow you to place reference images around your canvas and save them
with your image.
