Not without explaining why the current is bad for everyone. The problem is not that the delay is too long, but that we don't have an idea what makes up a good delay. Also it depends a lot on the device the users have. If you use a high precision mouse the result is different to a touchpad. So I assume you have a device which is faster. Good for you, not a reason to break the setting for users of other devices. That discussion came up often over the last years. What I took from it, is that the device matters.
