Users from basically all other platforms have a pre-existing expectation that remote locations need to first be navigated to and mounted before use, so I don't think that will cause undue confusion. So we could have Dolphin perform the local mounting, and then after that we just need some logic in Dolphin and maybe KIO that can detect whether a caller uses KIO or not, and determine whether to pass it a KIO URL or else the local path to the file on the mount. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
