As soon as the connection is list, all albums disappear and need to be scanned again from the beginning. I described this problem in detail in this thread: http://digikam.1695700.n4.nabble.com/All-albums-are-removed-if-there-is-a-network-disconnection-td4704993.html My pictures are stored in a network shared folder (and the collection is configured as such), but the database (SQLite) is stored locally. This behavior occurs regardless of the "scan on startup" and "clean database options".
