We didn't think that it made sense to put "Check for updates" on the settings
page. Maybe that should go on the updates page? But then again, perhaps it
should just automatically check for updates when you go to the updates page, in
which case a UI button for it isn't needed.
We might indeed need to add the "Software Management" thing back in to provide
users access to distro-specific software management interfaces that it's not
feasible to build into Discover, but we've gotta think of a better name;
"Software Management" doesn't give a clue about what it's going to do (all of
Discover is "software management!")
