Seems there is no way to definitely re-active entries previously hidden in
places panel.
open dolphin, right click on any entry ("devices", "search for", etc)
select "hidden entry x", restart dolphin
right click on places planel, select "show all entries"(ok, the entry hidden in
previous step is visible again)
restart dolphin
Result: the entry is hidden again
