Yes. I had not noticed that until you said it. This is the version 0.26.1,
which uses KDE 4.14.36 libraries. It is the default version in Debian
stable/testing repositories.
I have just installed the version 1.2.3 from Debian unstable repository, which
uses KDE 5.37 libraries, and the Google Drive files are opening successfully.
