            Bug ID: 388197
Summary: Change of font causes 100% CPU Utilization in
                    plasmashell
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.11.4
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
          Reporter: paulce...@yahoo.com
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Linux: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Plasma version 5.11.4
Framework version 5.41.0
QT version 5.9.3.
64 Bit CPU, kernel 4.14.

Description: Change font for menus/display through "Configure Desktop"
(systemsettings5) from Noto Sans to a user-installed Truetype font. Rebooting
will cause plasmashell to go to 100% CPU utilization. Changing font back causes
normal behavior.

Reproducible: Yes, by changing fonts from the 'stock' font selections to any
user-installed Truetype font and rebooting.

Fix/work-around: running systemsettings5 from command-line (which is somewhat
responsive), and changing font back, and restarting X (CTRL-ALT-Backspace
twice) will bring plasmashell back to normal load.
