I have this as well.
tagged images show the failed to load error. no thumbnail(not the image
thumbnail just the broken thumbnail) and no view. Same images will load fine
if not accessed via the tag link, in other words just clicked on from the
directory they reside in.
the tag links work fine in dolphin.
