--- Comment #12 from Jesse <jesse.dub...@gmail.com> --- I just tried to import a .png image sequence I rendered out from Blender using 17.08.3, and got the same problematic result. Steps: (1) Click on Add Clip (2) Check the "Import image sequence" box (3) Navigate to folder containing the .png's and select all (4) Click "OK" RESULT All of the images are imported separately as still clips and not as a sequence.
