Playing around some more, it seems any bold rendering is broken. Keyword
highlighting broke because it was the only thing that used bold. I can change
keyword highlighting to italic, which works. Likewise, changing normal text to
bold doesn't work and renders like normal text.
I didn't change the font, although I changed it and changed it back to the old
font. It's Liberation Mono, and selecting Bold in the font selection dialog
works and makes everything bold.
