Steps to reproduce:
1. Switch default 'Application Launcher' to 'Application Menu' alternative.
2. Hover over any application category or recent apps/docs - so 'Search...'
menu losts focus.
3. Hover over 'Search...' text field.
Contens of ~/.local/share/sddm/wayland-session.log is generic info:
