If I externally open a text file for Kate or an external link for the default
browser application (whatever it is; konqueror and chromium tested) on a
secondary virtual desktop, it launches a new window instead of opening the
file/link in the already opened window of the original virtual desktop.
Ideally, I think the behavior (whether to respect single window mode across
virtual desktops) should be paired with taskbar's settings about whether to
show or not windows present in different virtual desktops.
