Ok, thanks. i don't have it on auto, it just sits on the panel. i changed to
manual as i am learning about kdeconnect and i was getting no indication that
the pair had become active unless i got a notification. For example, i turned
on the PC this morning and on the login, it took about 15 minutes to pair up. I
clicked on it once to check and it said "no pair" then about 30 seconds
later,it paired.

Ok, i was just looking for it as an easy way to get the version number.
